Sundays are all about togetherness. We experience a lot more family time now that we are managing Briarmoore, and on Sundays we make an extra effort to spend the day together including completing ALL our chores as a family. This is especially great for the kids, enabling them to experience aspects of the farm they are not a part of on a regular basis. Last Sunday we decided to pick blackberries behind the pig paddocks before afternoon farm duties.
And I’m happy to share that we had more berries in the basket than in Nicolaus’ and Carleigh’s bellies…enough for blackberry ice cream made with fresh milk from our friends at Silky Cow
